Memorial Day 2018 in Lincoln

It was a beautiful, if not a little too hot, May morning in Lincoln at Wyuka Cemetery for the yearly Memorial Day Celebration.

Lincoln welcomes new member

At the May 4, 2018 meeting, the Lincoln Chapter welcomed new compatriot Stanley Wayne Smith who’s Patriot ancestor was William Colgan a member of Washington’s Life Guard. Welcome to the NESSAR Compatriot Smith!

JROTC Medal Presented

April 26, 2018 Compatriot John Braisted of the Lincoln Chapter presented the Sons of the American Revolution JROTC medal and certificate to Cadet Carter Dowding at Lincoln Northeast High-school. In 2015 his older brother Emery Dowding received the same award. Congratulations to Carter and Dowding family!


Lincoln Chapter Holds Elections

On February 2, 2018 the Lincoln Chapter Elected and Installed their officers for the 2018-2019 term.

2017 Wreaths Across America

Lincoln President and Secretary (Shawn Stoner and John Braisted) represented the NESSAR at the annual event at Wyuka Cemetery in Lincoln.  What a difference a year makes!  In 2016 is was 5 degrees with a strong wind and under one half inches of ice!  2017 saw 55 degrees with a light breeze and lots of sun.
